"Afterplay was a wonderful listen that deserves as much airplay as possible on what remains of jazz radio here in the United States. Soft and uplifting, this is an album that holds up after many listens."
- Instrumental Pavilion

"Its own genre of fun jazz, this set tickles the ears as easily as Kelly tickles the ivories and a good time is assured for all."
- MidwestRecord.com

"Just wanted to let you know how sensational I think your release is, and how grateful I am to be able to feature it at the radio station."
- Albert Khalis Pride, WBLZ-Blazeradio, Birmingham, Alabama

"Afterplay is a real treat for the ears and is good for the soul as well."
- Kathy Parsons, mainlypiano.com

"Bright and upbeat, "Afterplay” provides a bit of sonic optimism in these days of uncertainty and change... More jazz than new age, Kelly has created a collection of eleven rhythmically and melodically complex pieces that are easily accessible for casual listening yet provide a substantial and sensual auditory experience for many repeated plays. "
- Kathy Parsons, mainlypiano.com
